I'm currently developing a Firefox Toolbar for Lyrical Assault.

This is mostly to scratch an itch I have, but since I recently found out a technique for firefox extensions I decided I would put it to good use.

This is currently "expiremental" as hardly any features work yet.

If anyone who uses firefox is willing to help test it then you can download it from the Mozilla Addons site.


Feel free to add your suggestions for features in here, as well as posting problems


Current Version: 1.0.1.20100122.04

What Works:
  • Latest Topics displays the latest posts.
  • "Lyrical Assault" logo takes you to homepage.
  • Signing in is now implimented - Works off if your logged into the site or not.
  • Private Messages are now checked and Un-read count is shown.
Whats Broken:
  • Search only pre-fills the form on LA with the selected keyword
  • Most of, if not all, of the icons are just temps
  • Options isnt yet implimented

Ive updated the version on the Mozilla Addons site, if you've already installed it, firefox will tell you there's an update available so you dont need to do out.


I would like it if people could test the toolbar and let me know of any problems, anything you would like to see and anything your unsure about.

If you do test the toolbar please also concider posting some comments on the Mozilla Addons site for this Extention.

It appears that the Mozilla Addons site doesn't notify of updates for this mod as its currently "Experiemental".

So if you keep checking here for updates.

When the 'official' version is released you will be notified to update.

I have updated the Toolbar to Version 1.0.1.20100122.04, this is compatible with Firefox 3.5 and 3.6

Though the version you quoted, mackie, is the first version, their was another version between that and the new one I just uploaded.

If you downloaded it in the past, you will need to re-download it from the mozilla site, as Auto Updating isnt implemented until it loses the "Experimental" tag, which should be soon.

If your to lazy to go to the first post, you can download it here

Anyone who does use it, feel free to post reviews on the Mozilla page.
