I just finished watching this series on Netflix,and I've got to say I
think it was ripe,the music down to the moods and character was i believed captured well here,anyone else seen and liked it,or didn't like it,what do you guys think about it, will you be watching the 2nd series?.. |

Meh It's okay the score is pretty good I've only got up to like episode 7 blitzed the first few but just plodded along since then. It's all a bit 1 dimensional story wise but it's alright.

I enjoyed it, despite it dragging on with nothing really happening and the guy bein a bit too whiny - "I ain't no hero". Also, as a white guy in the UK, who doesn't surround him self with racists - the whole Americanized "black power" and "them vs us" shit got very irritating.

@Scotty I get what your saying,but Luke Cage was created in the 70's,
via the success of black exploitation films,so I guess this fits well with the comic mags fan base,so the producers and writers did well there I thought,but I understand your point,I feel this may change,when he comes across other super heroes like in the comics...peace. |

I didnt expect to care much fpr Luke Cage or Jessica Jones but I was happily suprised, the netflix universe is coming together quite well. I'm excited for Iron Fist and The Defenders now (have been ready for a Punisher solo series)

i enjoyed it too. I remember i wasn't a fan of Cottonmouth in the early stage of the serious because he was too much of a "comic" character lol. But he really grew on me. Yeah i'm stoked about the defenders too. Hope they make a cameo in Infinity War!

Seriously tho I did enjoy the first season but I don't see much potential longevity just due to his superpowers and lack of weaknesses but we'll just have to see how creative they get.
