Reading it through first time I really wasn't sure who took it. kiki's was written better and DTK's was more at the mercy of formula, and because I wasn't sure I thought I'd do the bar-by-bar thing bg did, and it came out 47-40 to DTK, so not that close...and not that I'm one to vote purely on that, but gotta say on second read, the personal nature of DTK's was the difference-maker...even when he missed he generally had good material he was working with, so no complete duds (podium and tea-bag lines were bad)...similarly DTK's misses were also bad nameplays (shadows and the magazine one...didn't work)...but he opened and closed better, voting against you was as simple a punch as you could ask for but in terms of pure impact, outdid anything else in the battle
Sorry, first two times I've voted in (I would guess) five or six years and both on your battles and not for you...pure coincidence, no conspiracy...I did read the other semi-final too but it was honestly...I mean, no disrespect...just, not, good...I didn't even know what to say...so I came to this one Vote: DTK

I was meant towards that his form is shallow. Its far from it actually IMO

Kiki- Your verse seemed more smooth and was really well done, I liked it, the tea bag K line made me laugh a little bit, i laughed reading your verse you had some good shit, the opener had me laughing just because of the hoping for third like your girl got a headache, cuz i think thats soewhere everyones been ahah. good verse man
DTK- opener and closer lines where easily the 2 best, the rest was good, but IMO it wasnt as smooth as Kiki's verse sorry man MVGT- Kiki

Decent battle, liked sections of both verses. Hard one to chose. Felt Kikis was slightly easier on the flow side of things and for that it came off the tounge better however I feel Dress came a little more personal with the punches and did just enough to land the knockout blow. Oh, Kikis podium line was pretty nice too, clever play.
However my vote goes to Dress, hope that's okay guys. Goodluck. |
