Battles under Review: Stuckinthepost vs BuzzKill

Not the best verse. Seems like you rushed it to get a point across, but ended up failing. I've certainly seen better from you. Your biggest problem here, is the lack of creativity and delivery in the punchlines. "Buzz walks into a bar, fuck it, give me 4 of those" - 4 of what, exactly? Perhaps I'm really just missing something there, because I can't see a punch, or a set up for the life of me. On my level punches are a bit played, and on his tippy toes is a bit minor. Never really going to win you battles. You could have really taken him apart with the BuzzKill name plays, especially in just a 4 bar battle. 3rd bar was your poorest. The reason being, lastest just isn't a word. The fact you've really had to force that word to mak the second line flow, is a bit poor. In the same breath, I thought the idea behind the bar was pretty good. Could have flamed him a lot more for being from NHV. Closer was again just a bit minor. As I say, it seems like you were in a rush to write this, and get your bars out. You didn't have to be. You're a lot better than this.

BuzzKill

Calling his verse lame is pretty weak, man. I mean, your verse wasn't exactly fire, ya know. What I do like about your verse, is that its structured well, it delivers, and has some decent punches and concepts in there. The roundhouses / Eskimos bar could have hit a lot harder. They don't really live in round houses, as we all know, yet I can see the relevance. Boo's / Alcoholics bar missed. Alcoholics don't really create booze, they drink it. Again, a nice concept, but the final punch just a bit short. As a WWE fan, I thought the Mankind bar was the best in the battle. Rock & Sock for the win :D. Last bar was Ok, not a real punch... but ok.

Overall, BuzzKill had a much more rounded verse here, showing greater use of the elements, and picks up an easy W for me.

BuzzKill got my vote.

 

BUZZ-cool verse. opener was str8. i actually liked the boos punch. Nep i dont think he was sayin "alcoholics create boos" but "stucks verse create boos/more booze than even an alcoholic can take". but yea good punches an i liked the closer.
