Listened to the start of this the other day but had to split wen Nox's bit came in (I didnt mean that like "OMG THIS IS WACK, I MUST RUN AWAY" )

Nox was way too rhyme orientated...seriously Nox, stop that, it makes me wona slap the shit outa you, coz you actually had a good verse apart from the fact that you were structurin shit stupidly coz u were tryna rhyme in ur verse ALL the time...

Briggs, you seemed to force ya rhymes in there, what i mean by that isnt that it wasnt smooth but it needs to seem effortless, the way you do it makes it disjointed, like you write the line like this "hello, i flow, but i am the first...LINE/ hi, i am the second one, i am a LINE//" uno wah i mean? where Nox is like "i am the first part, I AM THE NEXT PART, NoW the ThiRD/ OucH it HuRtS, MouSe In DiRT, WoW tHis WoRKs"

What I would say to Nox is, there are certain tracks where you can do that completely crazy scheme thing and it will work...club bangers or hype tracks, ones where u wona show off ya lyrical dexterity, this is a slower track, one where u shud be kickin a more meaningful verse, thats just the vibe of the song, its up too u how u wona structure the rhyme (for instance, Budden will still hold it down with multis in a deeper verse but also approach it differently in terms of what he is sayin)...he is a good example coz he follows a similar formula, take focus vs. 10minutes, same kind of rhyme structure but he has all the wordplay and hype lines in focus and none of that in 10minutes, tho he rhymes in the same way on both of those tracks, u seem to jus have that one structure that you use in the same way....

What I'd say to Briggs is, you need to up your rhymes, i never really thought you lacked rhymes but you seem to be concentratin on the rhymin more than what your sayin, was a little bit basic in the subject matter like "i said id get a deal, i said id be real, now shit aint goin right, i cant make the music i want, im stressed, i cant leave the studio, music overpowers me, cry with me"...i cant even concentrate to the whole verse I've had to listen 2 it like 3/4 times to get that down, coz u jus babblin on about that movin from rhyme to rhyme, you aint make me feel what your sayin, its not controlled at all, its almost kind of whiney "this happened, this happened, this happened, i love music, but it pisses me off, but i love music", its not really that interestin, it was a decent topic, but the way you did it you jus sloshed around the surface of the topic of the verse and didnt go into it in any kind of depth for me...maybe you wrote it quickly but you shud be able to tell a story in your verse no matter how fast you are writin it...i liked the "my lifes like a movie" part, but you didnt go into that, cudda worked that much better, you set up a good avenue but then didnt go down it....its like sum1 diggin a tunnel to escape a prison, and instead of diggin one big tunnel and goin with it you jus dug loads of little holes all around the prison

i wont even go into the formula on usin the sentimental-type hook and then jus throwin ya verses on it, wasnt really well done as well coz it jus cuts off at the end...ill let you off as its prolly jus a throwaway track but things like that jus make it seem unproffessional too me, whatever you do you shud be applyin the same ethic too it, but thats jus me

ok i dont agree.... I really enjoyed this song quick or not it is the kinda vibe i enjoy at certian times i thought briggzys flow was on point he had some real lines in there the accent does not matter to be im uk till the casket comes over me. I told the story of what an mc goes through. I was so so impressed by nox man you have elevated your flow was on point and the delievry also has come a long was since the lean back days maybe its because your voice has matured. The lyrics were also tight and showed the emotions that you were feeling. If this was made by some of the nets eliete people would all be on there dicks, this had s atop faling vibe which is one of my fav songs i have heard from the net. So yes i really enjoyed this and it is now on my ipods most played selection. Props the uk's comming for ya.
