Topical Tyranny: Round 3 - Votes

Both drops were pretty dope. The first verse told a real good story, with great imagery and emotion. A couple of the lines were a little off but it flowed pretty well. Good structure and nice rhyme-patterns (e.g. inner multies, etc.). Not a bad drop at all.
The second verse was equally powerfull in the imagery and emotion, the structure I felt was much better, and it seemed to flow easier to me. I think the multies in this were really good as well.
I particularly enjoyed the way the second writer came at this, topic-wise. The split decisions shown, the first having a relation to the second, but the overall hardest decision was which to write... that was brilliant.

I'm going to have to give this one to the second verse. It just left more of an indelible impression on my mind... but I give props to both writers.

Damn this one was hard to vote on...

The first one gave great imagery and story telling while still managing to have great flow and multies. Not many are skill enough lyrically to be able to do this. I thought it was a unique approach on the topic and creative to take something that happened to kay recently and give it it's own twist. Second verse had great emotion and very original approach to the topic. I felt this one was less clearly written but left alot more to the reader to interpret on their own. I can see this going either way since both had very well written verses. One was more story oriented while the latter was more personal and expressed feeling...Im gonna have to go wit the second because i liked how it presented two really hard decisions and leaving it up to the reader to decide which is harder. Tight battle...Vote: Second verse

Jif's been busy with school..(exam season)...so this is pretty much up in the air until pimpin gets back.
Until then...looks like verse 2 has the lead.

verse 1:  verse was pretty nice...flow was very hard to grasp thus it wasn't really an enjoyable read...but still, i loved the story...emotion was display nice and consistently so good job...really compelled me...

verse 2:  verse was pretty nice as well...flow was much better here than in the first verse...made the reading very smooth...almost felt like less line (may have been, iunno)...enjoy the stories, both had nice emotion...love the twist

vote: verse 2, felt the twist was amazing, loved how the closer tied the whole piece together, it connected both verses to each other as well as to the topic so yea
