This piece was sick, too. Actually flowed flawlessly. Great use of vocab (but none of that Kosmo > Thesaurus stuff) - some sick lines. Good read. Drop more.

Yea man, you already know this was dope. I also gotta applaud you for not holding anybody's hand and walking them through it with elaborate expos or cookie-cutter formatting. I know for me personally, I hate to get caught-up in a repetitious style and I have to change something in order to keep that feeling of actually being productive and creative.
Your first line was just sickness:

I didn't like the format, I think you could have gone the other way and filled it with line drops, and that would have been more effective I also didn't like the intro. It honestly sounded like some *** shit the way it started and I was like 'oh boy...' but you recovered in tremendous style -- and that's just me nit-pickin'... It got better and better after that and the last two paragraphs were serious business Metaphorically this was a different class Not for nothin', on pure skills this is two classics in two weeks from you... No one has done something of this type to this standard in LA history But you've inspired me -- now if I could just get off work for long enough . . . |
