I'd prefer to be in contention for 2012 rather than a 'decent' crew collab, where we were just getting a piece out to show we were there. But oh well.

I went with the LI collab. I wasn't in LI at the time, but once I read it, I knew LI was the crew to be in. It wasn't any competition in the collab, everybody just flowed well together and each individual person stepped their game up.
this definitely was a tough call though, all of the nominees were great works.
